Lerato Chabangu has be offered a chance to return to football after being promised to train with one of the Gauteng teams.
The former Bafana Bafana star appeared to have lost hope about getting another team in South Africa's top flight after he spent months without a club, since parting ways with Chippa United.
Ace, as Chabangu is known in football circles, parted ways with Chippa in 2016. The former Mamelodi Sundowns star had stints at Mikhado FC and Pretoria Callies FC, both teams from the ABC Motsepe League.

Now at 33, and looking to revive his career, the Tembisa-born player is like to go and try out at Baberwa FC, another third-tier outfit, as he is eyeing a deal to help him revive his career.
"Lerato Chabangu was spotted at Baberwa FC. He is likely to start training with the team and hopes to be signed," confirmed a source.
Baberwa, who are known for giving former PSL players a chance to revive their careers, are believed to be also keen on signing Fikru Lemessa, the 32-year-old Ethiopian who previously played for Orlando Pirates and SuperSport United, among other clubs in the PSL.
