Kaizer Chiefs may have to release two goalkeepers to bring in a potential Nigerian target, the Siya crew understands.
Siya sources have indicated that Chiefs could be interested in Chippa United keeper Stanley Nwabali and Soccer Laduma had previously linked the club to the Super Eagles stopper in the past.

With the January Transfer Window closed, Amakhosi will be focusing on the end of the season to bring in their targets, and the Siya crew investigates which keepers may have to make room in the squad for incomings.
Nwabali is currently at the Africa Cup of Nations with the Nigeria national team who have reached the quarter-finals after knocking out Cameroon in their last game.
"As it stands, the situation is that the club is looking at releasing two goalkeepers to open up space for (Stanley) Nwabali. He is on top of the list of players to be signed at the end of the season and the indications are that two goalkeepers will be released so that they have at least four goalkeepers in the first team then one from their DDC side. That's the situation right now," the Siya source said.
A second Siya source in the know and privy to information added that the proposed goalkeepers that may be released could be Itumeleng Khune and young Bontle Karabo Molefe.
"As for Itu (Khune) it's about his contract. It's coming to an end in June and as you know Sekhukhune United are interested in him. With Bontle (Molefe) he has indicated that he wants game time away from Chiefs and those two could open up space for Stanley (Nwabali)," said the second Siya source.
"The deal is very close to happening but there are clubs in Europe mainly in Belgium interested in him and with his performance at Afcon, things may be difficult for Chiefs but let's wait until the end of the season to see what will happen," the source added.
When contacted for comment by Soccer Laduma, Chiefs did not respond during the preparation of this story.
