Kaizer Chiefs were understood to be set on loaning out one of their wingers, Tebogo Potsane, before the start of the season, with his former team Royal AM being one of the reported interested parties.
However, Potsane's recent groin surgery has complicated the situation, making it difficult for the 30-year-old to move.

Sources close to the player and the club have indicated that Potsane's potential transfer could be stalled due to this injury.
The insiders added that the club is working on finding a suitable team for Potsane to join once he recovers.
"They want to loan him out but the stumbling block now is the injury. He got injured last season and had to go for groin surgery which will take time to fully heal. It's difficult to loan out an injured player. So, once he is fully recovered which is around October or November then they can look at which team can loan him," the Siya source stated.

A second source indicated that the coach has expressed a desire to loan out Potsane to allow him to gain game time at a different team this season.
"(Nasreddine) Nabi is happy with the players he saw in Turkey in that department and that's why he has asked some of the wingers to be loaned out for this season. Tebogo (Potsane) is one of them and the problem now is the injury. He is in rehab after the surgery and he is progressing well but can't be loaned out while still injured," the second source stated.
This complication could offer Potsane a lifeline. When he returns from injury he can join the matchday squad, work his way back into the first team and prove himself to coach Nabi.
