Having signed a pre-contract with Chiefs earlier in the season, Sithebe will finally leave the Durban-based outfit to officially join Amakhosi in preparing for the 2022/23 campaign with the Soweto giants.

While AmaZulu are expected to also make a decision on Brandon Truter's future as the KwaZulu-Natal giants are set to appoint a permanent head coach for the new season, the club also has some big decisions to make regarding the squad for next season.
Usuthu have several players with deals that are set to expire at the end of next month, while a few others have attracted interest from clubs in the DStv Premiership.

Of the AmaZulu players whose deals are set to expire include veteran defender Tsepo Masilela, influential midfielder Luvuyo Memela, as well as Siphelele Mthembu, Augustine Mulenga, Lehlohonolo Majoro, Thabo Qalinge, Limbikani Mzava and Veli Mothwa who has been linked with a move to Orlando Pirates, alongside defender Tapelo Xoki.
Former Chiefs star Hendrick 'Pule' Ekstein is among the players believed to be facing an uncertain future with Usuthu, along with New Zealand striker Andre de Jong, according to sources.
Meanwhile, AmaZulu players have all left for their off-season break with the indications that there is uncertainty for most of them regarding their futures as they don't know whether they will be offered new deals or if options will be exercised on some deals.
