Kaizer Chiefs and Orlando Pirates are set to be joined by another Gauteng-based DStv Premiership club in their pursuit of Victor Letsoalo from Royal AM, according to sources in the know.
Since the first round of the season after his impressive start with Thwihli Thwahla in his goalscoring exploits, Letsoalo has been closely monitored by Chiefs and Pirates who are both keen to land his signature.
Having failed to sign the forward in the January transfer window, the Soweto giants are expected to make formal offers for the Bafana Bafana man in the coming weeks, despite the KwaZulu-Natal club's attempts to hold on to him for longer by exercising their one-year contract renewal option to extend the deal to June 2023.
As the 2021/22 season is nearing a finish, Letsoalo is second on the goalscoring charts with 14 strikes and is behind red-hot Mamelodi Sundowns' key man Peter Shalulile who is on 22 league goals for the campaign.
