Former Mamelodi Sundowns defender is keen on reviving his career with a new club this season.

The Siya crew has been informed that Doctor Mampuru is currently in search of a new club to play for in the second round of the season.
The right back has been in the football wilderness for some time. He was last seen in the PSL during his time with Mpumalanga Black Aces in 2015.
"Doctor Mampuru – the former Mamelodi Sundowns player – wants to return to competitive football to revive his career. The player is training on his own at the moment as the people assisting him in his club search are looking for a team for him. It can be a team either in the PSL or NFD. The guy wants to play," said the source.

Mampuru, 25, previously also played for Chippa United. He is a product of Sundowns' youth development.
