Having spent the last campaign on loan at Golden Arrows, former Orlando Pirates midfielder Ntsako Makhubela has resurfaced at a new club in the DStv Premiership.

Makhubela, as reported by the Siya crew, was part of a list of players including Craig Martin, Nkanyiso Zungu, Kopano Thuntsane, and Ndumiso Mabena who were all released by Pirates at the end of the 2022/23 campaign.
The 29-year-old experienced contrasting fortunes going from being an integral part of coach Mandla Ncikazi and Fadlu Davids' plans, to being on the periphery under head coach Jose Riveiro, which eventually led to his departure.
Now, according to Siya sources in Gauteng, 'Neverdie' has been spending the last few days training with Moroka Swallows under the watchful eye of the club's new coach Steve Komphela.
The crew understands that Makhubela has not officially put pen to paper with the Birds just yet although there are talks of a potential deal, with the player forming part of the club's pre-season plans.
Makhubela is a free agent and looks set to join the likes of Dumisani Zuma, Andile Jali, Daweron Van Rhyn, Lantshene Phalane, Keenan Phillips, Victor Bakah and Falakhe Tshanini who have flocked to the Birds' nest already.
