News reaching the Siya crew is that AmaZulu coach Benni McCarthy may look to add another former Orlando Pirates player to his side in preparation for next season.
The crew can confirm that Thabo Qalinge is training with Uusuthu as he looks to impress the technical team in a bid to secure a deal for next season.
The former Pirates star has been unlucky since his exit from the Buccaneers and failed to impress at SuperSport United.
'Section 10' is now looking to revive his career under McCarthy, in the hope of joining former teammates Xola Mlambo and Luvuyo Memela at the rejuvenated Usuthu.
According to Siya sources, Qalinge has also been included in the team that will face GladAfrica Championship side, Pondo Chiefs in a friendly game.
The left-winger was at Matsatsantsa during the 2019/20 season and only made two appearances for the side.
The former Bucs star hopes to revive his career at Usuthu which saw him join Pirates in 2014 after fruitful period at Mpumalanga Black Aces.
