Not long after his exit from Maritzburg United, Fadlu Davids is set to take on a job at one of the most well known clubs on the African continent.
Davids was unable to save Maritzburg from relegation after the club brought him to steer the ship during the FIFA World Cup break. The Team of Choice went into the market to back Davids with players that would help them avoid the drop, but it did not make a difference as they were relegated via the end of season play offs.

Club chairman Farook Kadodia confirmed after the players that Davids and his entire technical team had left the club and even criticised the head coach for allegedly speaking to Moroccan giants Raja Casablanca before the play offs even finished.
Davids is set to be announced as an assistant coach to Josef Zinnbauer at Raja, who recently signed former Mamelodi Sundowns midfielder Haashim Domingo.
Davids worked as an assistant to Zinnbauer at Soweto giants Orlando Pirates and they had a brief spell together at Russian Premier League side Lokomotiv Moscow.
