It was reported in last week's edition of Soccer Laduma that Sundowns currently have an offer from an undisclosed Russian outfit for the services of Tau.

It has since been reported in local media that the name of the Russian outfit is FC Rostov and that they have recently made a bid of R18 million for the 23-year-old.

Siya sources at Masandawana have confirmed to the crew that there is indeed an offer from Rostov on their table, while Danish outfit, FC Midtjylland, have also made a formal approach for Tau.

However, sources added that the Brazilians value the player for much more than R18 million, despite him being in the final 18-months of his contract.

While there is also interest from France and Russia, it remains to be seen whether Sundowns will be open to the sale of the playmaker in the final days of the transfer window, although, at this point, sources have revealed that Masandawana will need to see an impressive offer before considering the immediate future of their star player before the window closes tomorrow, January 31.
