Egyptian giants Zamalek are determined to land Kaizer Chiefs midfielder Edson Castillo and have contacted Amakhosi to do so, the Siya crew has been informed.
Soccer Laduma has previously reported how Zamalek are monitoring the Venezuelan midfielder.

Siya sources close the club have indicated that Castillo won't come cheap and he is valued at around R30 million.
The sources have added that the Egyptian club may want to open up official talks before the end of the season.
"It looks like Zamalek are very serious about Edson (Castillo). At first it was just monitoring and inquiring but now it's apparently believed that they have contacted Chiefs to talk about the possible move," said the Siya source.
"However Chiefs are not in a hurry to make a decision or listen to what Zamalek are going to say. Their main focus and worry right now is on the league where they want to finish as high as they possibly can and qualify for Africa next season.
"But yet, there has been contact from Zamalek. Now it's all up to Chiefs to make a decision," the source told Soccer Laduma.
A second Siya source has stated that the high price tag put on Castillo does not scare Zamalek.
"It seems Zamalek are not scared by the price tag which is around R30 million. You are aware that Egyptian teams are well funded and even the owners there have a good financial standing so they are not scared to approach Chiefs even if the price tag is up there.
"Even when it comes to salaries they are not bad at all. They can even pay more than top South African teams and that's why they are determined to approach Chiefs for Castillo," the source added.
Soccer Laduma contacted Chiefs for comment but no response was received by the time this story was published.
