The 30-year-old forward took to Instagram to bid farewell to the Rockets, thanking club chairman Tim Sukazi, coach Adnan Beganović, and the rest of the technical staff for the opportunity to represent the Mpumalanga-based side. Zajmović described his time at Galaxy as “being part of a family” and expressed deep gratitude to his teammates, saying he learned a lot from the environment.
“Unfortunately, my chapter at TS Galaxy has come to an end. I would like to thank the chairman, the head coach, the club director, the whole staff and last but not least my AMAZING TEAMMATES. It truly felt like being part of a family,” he wrote.
Zajmović’s exit comes at a turbulent time for TS Galaxy, who are currently under a FIFA-imposed transfer ban, their fourth such sanction in less than a year. This latest departure adds to growing concerns around the club’s ability to reinforce their squad ahead of the 2025/26 season.
Despite the uncertainty off the pitch, Zajmović was one of Galaxy’s standout performers during the 2024/25 campaign.
In total, he registered 11 goals across all competitions, seven in the Betway Premiership, three in the Nedbank Cup, and one in the Carling Knockout, in just 28 appearances. He also provided two assists, underlining his influence in the final third.
