A former Mamelodi Sundowns and Orlando Pirates midfielder could be set to start a new football journey, this time back in his home country, Zimbabwe after leaving Ghana earlier this year, the Siya crew has been reliably informed.
Siya sources in Zimbabwe have indicated that Kudakwashe Mahachi is set to start training with Harare based side Dynamos FC. The sources have added that the club is also interested in signing former Kaizer Chiefs and Mamelodi Sundowns forward Khama Billiat, though Soccer Laduma has reported on the challenges for them to get that proposed deal over the line.
The Siya crew has also been informed that despite these challenges, Dynamos will aim to compete with other clubs for Billiat's signature and we investigate developments regarding a potential transfer for Mahachi.

Insiders privy to information have noted how Mahachi has left his club Medeama SC in Ghana and is a free agent right now while Dynamos are building a strong team ahead of the new season in Zimbabwe.
"The talks between Dynamos and Kuda's (Mahachi) party is as good as done and he is expected to start training with the team this week. His representatives have been talking to Dynamos while he was not around and almost all the terms and conditions of the move have almost been completed," said the Siya source.
"Now they are waiting for him to arrive in Harare to start training as the team prepares for the new season. Yes, Dynamos want both him and Khama Billiat but those are two different stories with two different situations so we cannot mix things when talking about Kuda joining Dynamos. His move is on the cards and as good as done," the source added.
A second Siya source stated how Dynamos want to build a strong team not just for the local league but to compete in Africa as well.
"They have always had ambitions when going to play in Africa and now they want to have players with experience who can help them when they go to play in Africa and that's why they are trying to bring in players like Kuda. Even locally they are recruiting good players from other clubs. You know Dynamos are a big team in Zimbabwe and they want to bring back those glory days by signing top players," the source added.
Apart from Sundowns and Pirates, during his time in South Africa, Mahachi had also played for Golden Arrows and SuperSport United so his experience could be highly beneficial to Dynamos.
Soccer Laduma contacted Dynamos and the club chose not to comment on this story.
