Keet parted ways with the Citizens not so long ago and had been linked with a possible reunion with Eric Tinkler at Sekhukhune United, but he has made the move to KZN.
City are expected to announce more players, such as Thulani Hlatshwayo, Haashim Domingo and Brooklyn Poggenpoel.
Stellies, meanwhile, have loaned out young Faiz Abrahams to Israeli second division club Hapoel Kfar Saba for the season. Stellenbosch are hoping that Abrahams, who made his first-team debut last season against Kaizer Chiefs, will get valuable experience.
