After getting an opportunity to feature in the DStv Diski Challenge over the weekend, a Kaizer Chiefs player currently out on loan appears to be knocking on the door for a first team appearance.
Donay Jansen joined SuperSport on loan from Amakhosi before the start of the new campaign and has struggled to break into the team.

Assistant coach Andre Arendse recently spoke about the player's struggles with his fitness this season, but the Siya crew understands that the club has been working with him to try to get him to a level where he can make some first team appearances before he returns to Naturena at the end of the season.
Amakhosi sent Jansen out on loan with the aim of him getting opportunities to feature regularly in the top flight, but things have not really gone according to plan.
The player featured in SuperSport's DDC clash with Tshwane rivals Mamelodi Sundowns over the weekend, playing at a level he had already come from at Chiefs.
Arendse has taken over from recently sacked Gavin Hunt at SuperSport and with pressure to move out of the relegation zone, he is not likely to do any favours for Jansen to get into the team. The player is aware that he has to work to get into the team and the interim coach will give him an opportunity based on the work he puts in at training.

As things stand, the 22-year-old Jansen has made just three appearances in all competitions and will be hoping to feature to show the Amakhosi technical team what he is capable of for the future.
