Chippa United is linked with an Ivorian goalkeeper as part of the club's plans to reinforce the squad for the 2019/20 season.
Chippa conceded a whopping 35 goals from their 30 Absa Premiership matches this past season, as the club had to wait until the very last day of the campaign to have their safety in the top-flight confirmed, after their impressive win against Kaizer Chiefs.

In planning to improve the team's defence for the new season, the Chilli Boys are believed to have their sights on Badra Ali Sangare – the Ivorian goalkeeper who has been with Free State Stars.
"Chippa could make goalkeeping changes as Mbongeni Mzimela is linked with an exit from the club. The name of the Free State Stars goalkeeper (Sangare) has been discussed as one of the possible targets," said the source.

Sangare, 33, played in 21 Absa Premiership matches for Ea Lla Koto this side. As reported, the Bethlehem outfit parted with a number of players at the end of the season, as part of the club's changes in preparation for life in the National First Division, following their relegation at the end of the season.
