Percy Tau looks likely to make his Premier League debut against the high-flying Manchester City on Wednesday,if his Brighton Hove Albion coach Graham Potter's words are anything to go by.
As fate would have it, Brighton's injury crisis has catapulted Tau into contention for the Seagulls squad to face the Citizens at the Etihad Stadium, in what would be his Premier League debut, having made his FA Cup debut on Monday.
Asked about Tau ahead of the clash Potter, hinted that the 26-year-old, who made his debut in 'difficult circumstances' in their win against Newport County, could feature against Pep Guardiola's side.
"He brings some qualities which are really, really useful to us. He'll compliment the ones we've already got and help the team, I'm pretty sure of that," Potter told the media in a press conference.
"He's got a nice personality, a really good footballing brain. He can adapt to different players and different situations.
"It's important we find the right role for him as he can play in a few positions. He's not just a striker, he's a wide player, an attacking midfield player so it depends how you see him. That's a positive for us," Potter added.
