Reports coming out of England suggest that Percy Tau might realize his dream of playing in the Premier League as his Brighton Hove Albion recall draws closer.

The 84 minutes he played in Sunday's 2-0 win over Beerschot might have been Tau's final appearance for Anderlecht, as Brighton are reportedly finalising the paperwork of his UK work permit.
According to a tweet by European football correspondent, Kristof Terreur, the Belgian outfit 'do not expect Tau back' and have seemingly made peace with the fact that he could be lost to them, with the 26-year-old said to be returning to his parent club.

"Where's Percy? Waiting for the paperwork of his UK work permit to be completed. Anderlecht don't expect him back anymore. #bhafc," Terreur tweeted.
His tweet was in response to questions about Tau's whereabouts after it was reported that he was a notable absentee from Vincent Kompany's training sessions ahead of Anderlecht's match against Leuven this Sunday.

There was a fear that Tau would never officially don a Seagulls shirt, but Brighton are said to have taken advantage of the changes to the overhaul of the work permit rules in the UK following Brexit, and could finally see a return on investment on their R50 million that they spent to bring Tau to Europe nearly three seasons ago.
Tau has made 14 appearances for Anderlecht this season, contributing four goals and an assist in the process.
