Mayambela started for Djurgardens, while Mdaki and Miller came on as substitutes for Djurgardens and Motala respectively.

The opening 45 minute saw very few chances, though one did fall Mayambela's way in the tenth minute, but his shot went just over the goal.

But chances were few and far between and the first half ended goalless.

Djurgardens took control in the second half and ran away winners.

Former Platinum Stars defender Vaughn Miller came on for Motala in the 65th minute, but he only got to play against Mayambela for five minutes, as the former Bloemfontein Celtic star was substituted in the 70th minute, with the score 2-0 to Djurgardens.

However it wasn't long until there were two South Africans on the pitch again, with on-loan from Sundowns youngster, Xolani Mdaki, finally making his debut for the Allsvenkan team. He came on for the last fifteen minutes with the score 3-0, replacing goalscorer Amadou Jawo.
