The PSL is regarded as the best league commercially in Africa but Wydad Casablanca head coach has highlighted a few points they need to improve compared to Botola Pro League.
The PSL broke it's own record after they declared R1 billion in revenue five years ago, as the figures backed up suggestions that the South African Premier League is the best on the continent.
The Premiership is also up there when it comes to the headlining sponsorship, after they sealed a R900 million deal with Betway for the next three years.

However, there are aspects that the PSL has to catch up on with the rest of the world, like the implementation of the Video Assistant Referee (VAR), which was pointed out by Mokwena among other things he believes the League in mzansi can learn from Botola Pro.
"The usage of VAR, it is still not accepted or used in South Africa and here it's a consistent feature," Mokwena said in an interview with CAF TV.
"I'm yet to play a match in Morocco in a bad field. The surface, the facilities are amazing and that's a lot of credit to the government, the people involved. They understand you need a good surface for a good game.
"And another thing that is a minutiae but an important detail, is that they use the same ball for all the matches and this is what I was advocating a lot in South Africa. In South Africa you play against a team sponsored by a certain brand and use that match ball, the next match you use another different match ball. There's a lot of irregularity with regards to the technical consistency with the players," the 38-year-old observed the differences since he joined Wydad Casablanca.

The PSL and SAFA liaison committee has been mum on the timeframes regarding the implementation of VAR, after there were suggestions it would be rolled out in the 2024/25 season.
