Arab publication Al Bayan reported that Mosimane was rushed to hospital after he suffered shortness of breath, with no further indication of what could have transpired with the coach.
In an interview conducted with Abu Dhabi TV last month, Mosimane did reveal that he was concerned over his health.
It is unclear whether Mosimane will be ready in time to face Ajman on Saturday.
Mahier Davids, who is serving as Mosimane's assistant, has taken over training as per the report; although there has been no official confirmation from Al Wahda on the coach's condition.
Earlier this week, Cairo24 reported that the coach's contract with the club has been terminated; however there has been no confirmation from the club in that regard.
