The 8-0 defeat that Abha suffered earlier this month to Cristiano Ronaldo's Al Nassr will go down as Mosimane's heaviest defeat in his glittering coaching career, and now the club has picked up an unwanted record following their latest loss.
Abha's 5-0 loss to Al Shabab meant that they have now become the side to concede the most goals in a single season in Saudi Pro League history!
The 74 goals shipped in by Mosimane's side has now eclipsed the 70 goal statistic set by Al-Hazm Club in the 2010/2011 campaign.
It is worth noting that of the 74 goals conceded by Abha this season, only 22 have come in Mosimane's time at the team.
With eight matches to go before the conclusion of the 2023/24 season, Abha Club have every chance of surviving the dreaded relegation drop; however, results like the one against Al Shabab will make their task all the more difficult.
The club currently find themselves in 15th position, just one point clear of safety.
