All eyes were on 'Jingles' in anticipation of how his side would react following their 8-0 defeat to a Cristiano Ronaldo-inspired Al Nassr last week.
In what was a strong show of character, Mosimane's men managed an impressive 2-1 win over seventh-placed Al Fateh to move one point clear of the dreaded relegation drop.
The win means that Mosimane's rescue mission, which he undertook in January this year, is in full motion.
Mosimane has managed three wins, two draws and three defeats in the eight matches he has overseen in the Abha hot seat so far and he has seven matches left to play.
Next up for the 59-year-old and his men is an away fixture to 11th-placed Al Shabab on 18 April.
