Official: Lebogang Phiri Joins French Club

South African midfielder Lebogang Phiri has returned to France after joining Ligue 2 side Paris FC.

The 27-year-old spent last season with Turkish outfit Rizespor who were relegated to the second division after finishing 17th minute.

Phiri will now spend the 2022/2023 season on loan in the French second division, with an option to buy.

The South Africa international is no stranger to French football, having racked up 88 appearances for EA Guingamp between 2017 and 2021, which included one campaign in Ligue 2.
