Pitso Mosimane recently revealed how a deal to sign Iqraam Rayners in Saudi Arabia from Stellenbosch fell through at the last moment.

Mosimane has been open about his struggles to sign South African players when he is working abroad, citing overpricing and clubs' reluctance to release their players when he comes calling.
As a result, Percy Tau is the only South African to have been signed by Mosimane at Al Ahly, though scores of others have been linked with 'Jingles' in the past.
More recently, Mosimane revealed how he narrowly missed out on Stellenbosch ace Iqraam Rayners.
The 28-year-old has been a man reborn this season in Stellies colours and would make a world of difference in Mosimane's quest to keep Abha Club from relegation, and he would have made the switch to the club had it not been for the deal falling through at the last minute, owing to Stellies inability to find a suitable replacement.
"He nearly got a chance to play in Saudi. It was this year. The deal didn't go through at the end. The deal collapsed in the last hour, not the last day, the last hour. Stellenbosch said 'yes'. And we were willing to pay whatever they asked," he told SNAWA on Metro FM.
"We need to be honest to Stellenbosch. I think they felt they don't have enough time to replace him because the transfer window was closing. But he can still play in Saudi if he continues to score hat-tricks. He scored for Bafana, so he is still a good player," Mosimane said.
