The 24-year-old seems to making some strides in Portugal in recent weeks as he picks up more game time with the club, and was handed his first start for the senior side last night as they took on Pacos de Ferreira.
With Guimaraes 2-1 down in the dying moments of the game, Zungu repaid his coach's decision to start him by slotting home a calm finish inside the box, taking his team top of their group in the Taça da Liga.
