Orlando Pirates midfielder Thabang Monare faces time on the sidelines after clarity was given on his mysterious red-card, where he was sent off without kicking a ball after his alleged scuffle with a ball boy against Richards Bay.
The Natal Rich Boyz were seemingly content with a point, as the Premiership encounter on Saturday was still deadlocked in the dying minutes when a ball boy supposedly delayed the Buccaneers from taking a corner-kick.

The ball boy held the ball in his hands and attempted to walk slowly to the corner flag, instead of releasing the ball and that frustrated Pirates, as Monare, one of the substitutes close to the line outside the field, quickly grabbed the ball off the hands of the ball boy and passed it for the Sea Robbers to take the corner.
The ball boy went down as if he was hurt and referee Jelly Chavani gave the 34-year-old a straight red-card in the 90th minute, after which the game ended goalless.
There were suggestions on social media that the Soweto giants should appeal and have Monare's red-card rescinded, as many believe that he "only" took the ball out of the ball boy's hand.
However, former referee Victor Hlungwane says Chavani was correct to give Monare a red-card, as an incident can be deemed violent conduct regardless of whether contact was made.
"It's governed under Law 12, fouls and misconduct, there is what we call violent conduct. It says 'violent conduct is when a player uses or attempts to use excessive force or brutality against an opponent, when not challenging for the ball, against the teammate, team official, match officials, spectator or any other person, regardless of whether contact is made'," Hlungwane said on Metro FM Sports.
"So that's what Monare did, he pushed a ball boy, outside the field of play, the ball is not in play. That behaviour is not wanted in the football pitch, it's called violent conduct and the player must be sent off.
"So, correctly, so Jelly Chavani sent Monare off the field of play for that behaviour," he added.
Monare is set to spend more time on the sidelines, as he is currently on three yellow cards and after his two-match ban, should he pick up a booking, he will be suspended for another match.
The former Bidvest Wits midfielder will also face a three-game suspension should he receive another red-card during the season.
