With doubts on whether Orlando Pirates forward Relebohile Mofokeng's mind is still at the club, Soccer Laduma looks deeper into the statistics of the 20-year-old so far this season.
No doubt Mofokeng has been the most influential player at Pirates for the previous two seasons and with his performances not yet peaking, there are already questions asked on whether the transfer rumours are distracting him mentally.
In the Buccaneers' first match, a 2-0 win over Polokwane City in the MTN8 quarter-finals, Oswin Appollis stole the headlines after he was named Man of the match after he also scored against his former side.

And perhaps rightly so, as soccer data website soccer24 also rated him as the best Pirates player on the day, with a mark of 8,5/10.
Mofokeng's performance against City was also a talking point as he appeared not to be himself, at some point making an error that almost led to The Buccaneers conceding.
Consequently, he was rated the second lowest Pirates player of the players who started with a mark of 6,7/10 by the above-mentioned website.
Soccer Laduma's reigning Player of the Season lifted up his performance according to stats in a 1-0 defeat to Sekhukhune United, rated the second-best Buccaneer of those who were in the starting line-up, after an impression of 6,8/10, only bettered by Deon Hotto's 7,1/10, who was the only player from the same team with a rating of above seven, considering that the Soweto giants lost.

Surprisingly Mofokeng started from the bench against Marumo Gallants (perhaps rested for Mamelodi Sundowns in the MTN8) and only came on with 30 odd minutes to go, as Pirates slipped to a 2-1 defeat.
The Sharpeville native was rated the fourth lowest of the Buccaneer players after he got 6/10, which was not surprising after The Mighty Bucs lost.
Playing for just over half-an-hour was enough to be rated, as for example, Jaisen Clifford, who came on at almost the same time as Mofokeng for Gallants and scored the winner in the dying minutes, was rated 7,6/10.
After three matches, on average, the 20-year-old's performances has been rated at 6,5/10, which could be slightly worrying, considering that Appollis averages 7/10 mark in the same period.
Another influential Pirates player Patrick Maswanganyi has an average rating of 7/10.
Only 7/10 or above is rated as 'good' by the data website.
