7 Pirates Players Facing Possible Exits

After playing their final Betway Premiership match of the season on Wednesday evening, Soccer Laduma looks at seven players who may be set to leave Orlando Pirates in the next few weeks. 

The Buccaneers ended their campaign with a 1-1 draw against Magesi FC at Orlando Stadium, as they finished in second place which qualifies them to play in next season's CAF Champions League.

Pirates are set to have a new coach at the helm following the departure of Jose Riveiro and some changes are expected to be made to the squad, with new players such as Sinoxolo Kwayiba and Sihle Nduli coming in. 

This means there will be players making way for the new faces to be integrated into the squad ahead of the 2025/26 season.

The Buccaneers are determined to build a competitive squad to unseat Mamelodi Sundowns as champions of local football and they want to challenge for honours on the continent after getting to the semi-finals of the Champions League this past season. To do that, some players will have to be sacrificed.
