Indications are that discussions are underway and the deal between the club and 28-year-old looks set to be concluded in the coming weeks.
"The deal is as good as done. As of now, we can say is around 80% done. The team has offered the player another two years on his current one-year deal, which is remaining," a source revealed to the Siya crew.
"This means that if all goes according to plan he will remain at the team until June 2026. The way things are, I don't think there is anything that can stop the deal as the player is happy to remain at the club and the team wants to keep the player for another two years. So it is as good as done. It is almost done to be honest with you," the source added.
