An Orlando Pirates young star has attracted interest from the DStv Premiership, as clubs are making final tweaks to their squads for the second half of the season.
Having already signed the likes of Zambian international midfielder Roderick Kabwe and his countryman Justin Shonga, as well as Evans Rusike and Luckyboy Mokoena among others in this transfer window, Sekhukhune United have their sights on Pirates' young striker Katlego Cwinyane to possibly add to the team.
Cwinyane previously played for Babina Noko during the team's impressive GladAfrica Championship campaign of last season, and he was one of the top performers for the team.
At the Buccaneers, however, the 22-year-old has been playing for the DStv Diski Challenge team.
"Enquiries have been made on Orlando Pirates youngster Katlego Cwinyane's availability by Sekhukhune United. The ambitious club has earmarked the young striker as a potential signing even if on loan for the remainder of the season. Talks have been ongoing between the two clubs in the last few days and a decision is expected today," said the source.
Cwinyane is a product of Pirates' development and is regarded as one of Mzansi's top young talents who has been earmarked for the future.
