Orlando Pirates' Latest Soweto Derby Update

Orlando Pirates' Latest Soweto Derby Update

Orlando Pirates have issued their latest update regarding the Soweto Derby ticket sales, as a number of supporters could be at risk of not being able to watch the match live at the stadium.

Pirates, who are chasing Kaizer Chiefs in the Absa Premiership title race, will host their perennial rivals at FNB Stadium in their much-anticipated clash, which is scheduled for February 29.

The Buccaneers confirmed though that there had been only 9000 stand tickets left as of Wednesday morning, with the supporters urged to go and purchase their tickets from the remaining few to avoid disappointment.

"The Soweto Derby may still be three weeks away but judging from the interest surrounding this match, fans don't want to miss out on the spectacle. Yesterday Orlandopiratesfc.com announced that 22 000 tickets were left, however as of this morning, the site can now confirm that only 9 000 stand tickets remain," confirmed Pirates, as appearing on the club's official website.
