An Orlando Pirates defender has been announced as a signing for Chippa United, as part of the latest developments taking place at the Soweto giants.
As announced by Pirates on Thursday afternoon, the club has completed the signing of Nigerian defender Olisah Ndah, as well as Ghanaian striker Kwame Peprah to strengthen the team for the 2021/22 season.
With the Buccaneers also having another new signing in former Maritzburg United defender Kwanda Mngonyama still waiting for his chance to play, as club captain Happy Jele and Thulani Hlatshwayo have been playing as the two centre-backs under Mandla Ncikazi and Fadlu Davids, Sandile Mthethwa has been loaned out to Chippa.
The Chilli Boys have confirmed adding the 24-year-old player to coach Gavin Hunt's squad to mark his return, having been at the club last season on loan from Bucs.
"We're delighted to announce that Sandile Mthethwa has re-joined the club. The club is looking to do better than previous seasons. Sandile Mthethwa comes highly rated by current Chilli Boys coach Gavin Hunt," Chippa confirmed on the club's official Twitter account.
