After Orlando Pirates suffered back-to-back losses, legend Edward Motale opens up whether Abdeslam Ouaddou should stay if they lose to Mamelodi Sundowns.
Ouaddou had a winning start in the MTN8 quarter-finals after a 2-0 win over Polokwane City.
However, Pirates came unstuck in the league after losing their opening two games against Sekhukhune United and Marumo Gallants.
The Moroccan coach is already under pressure to save his job, there are doubts on whether he has the capability to lead a big club as The Buccaneers.
And the upcoming game for the Soweto giants could not be any bigger, as they host Sundowns in the MTN8 semi-final first-leg at Orlando Stadium on Saturday afternoon.
Soccer Laduma spoke to Motale, on whether it would a last straw for Ouaddou if he suffers another defeat to Masandawana.
"It's already difficult because everybody would not want (Pirates) to lose. Nobody goes to a game preparing to lose, we all want to win," Motale told this publication.
"Unfortunately on the day who wins would be a winner. He will have to back to the drawing board, do his corrections, he's human, he played the game.
"I think by now where he is he is trying to correct those minor mistakes, because those are not even major, it's one or two mistakes he needs to correct," the former Bafana Bafana defender said.
With the second-leg of the MTN8 semi-final against Sundowns still to come, it may not be a make or break for Ouaddou but certainly another big game would be next Wednesday when the Soweto giants host Stellenbosch in the Betway Premiership.
Pirates lost their opening two league games for only the second time in their PSL history since the 2007/08 season, where they finished eighth in the Premiership standings.
