Orlando Pirates coach Micho Sredojevic, while trying not to put new arrival Joris Delle under too much pressure, has described the Frenchman as part of a new breed of goalkeepers and expects him to show his quality soon.
Delle, 29, joined the Buccaneers from Feyenoord in the Dutch Eredivisie last month – just days after Jackson Mabokgwane was released.

"When you look at his CV, it talks volumes about him. He has in the past been part of the French teams that have won the World Cup in the youth categories and that has led him into a different path," Sredojevic told the media.
"He has to of course acclimatise to African football because – for me – it is different to world football in general. He has been in the Eredivisie and has recently witnessed the surprise package that is Ajax Amsterdam. We believe we have brought in a very good boy, who is accommodating."
The Bucs coach said new goalkeeper coach Jyri Nieminen also had a part to play in bringing in Delle to South Africa.
"With the arrival of Jyri Nieminen we have someone who is experienced and has the background of the MLS, Middle East and coming here to cover a tremendous job that was done by Andrew Sparks, who moved to the English Premier League. We looked at Delle with the help of our new goalkeeper coach," explained Sredojevic.
