A well-known analyst has weighed in on the talk of interest from Barcelona in talented Orlando Pirates attacker Relebohile Mofokeng, saying that his style of play would fit in how they play in Spain.
As reported by the Siya crew, insiders have revealed that there have been enquiries made from Barca on Mofokeng after impressing with his performances and high work-rate for coach Jose Riveiro's team.

The 20-year-old from Sharpeville recently added another feather to his cap after winning the Sports Personality of the Year award on Sunday, 24 November.
The Buccaneers' wonderkid has the PSL Young Player of the Season and Nedbank Cup Most Promising Player of the Tournament, among other individual accolades he has won since he debuted for the first team in the 2022/23 season.
The young star has been linked with several European clubs since attending trials with Premier League side Wolverhampton Wanderers last year, but it is the latest link with Barcelona that has got Junior Khanye excited at the prospect of him leaving for greener pastures.
"That would be a big one. As far as I know, it has never happened before that Barcelona would be interested in our players. Those people are smart, and they do things properly when it comes to development. They have a good eye for young talent. Even when it comes to international football, Spanish football is always exciting, and I think their game can suit the boy. In terms of technique and tactical approach, the boy's style would suit the way Spanish football is all about. I wish that kind of a move can happen for him," said Khanye, speaking exclusively to the Siya crew.

"If he can move there, the boy would be a reference to say anything is possible in football and other players in South Africa would get inspired. Credit to the School of Excellence for nurturing the boy's talent under the likes of the late coach James Mabena and all the coaches he worked with. Credit also to Pirates for identifying such a talent and gave him a chance, and well done to (Joseph) Duku-Duku Makhanya for what he contributed during the short space of time he worked with the boy. Credit also to Jose Riveiro for the courage to play the boy in such a high-pressure situation that it is at a club like Pirates. I might have had my doubts about the coach initially, but he has proven that he knows what he is doing. This boy is a Bafana Bafana player, and he deserves to start and finish games for the senior national team," said Khanye.
