As soon as the full-time whistle went, supporters were seen invading the pitch at the Moses Mabhida Stadium, forcing the coaches and players to run the tunnel.

There were some unsavoury scenes as supporters were seen burning the chairs at the stadium, while SuperSport TV had their equipment damaged, forcing them to cut their live feed from the stadium as post match interviews were taking place.

There are numerous videos on various social media platforms showcasing the supporters' destruction after the game.

There are also unconfirmed reports that there are security guards fighting for the lives after being badly beaten, while images have surfaced of a female security guard being attacked by supporters.

There were no players or club officials harmed according to the Siya crew's knowledge, although we will continue to investigate.
