The Premier Soccer League have confirmed the first set of fixtures for this year's Nedbank Cup qualification as teams look to land their place in the tournament.
With the MTN8 and Telkom Knockout almost both out of the way – the first was won by SuperSport United and the second will be fought for by Mamelodi Sundowns and Maritzburg United – focus will soon turn to arguably the country's most prestigious cup competition.
The Nedbank, which features teams from all of the leagues rather than just the Absa Premiership, will get underway properly in 2020, but first teams from the lower leagues need to book their place.
Eight qualifying fixtures were confirmed by the league today as follows:
November 29 -
Real Kings v Steenberg United
Swallows FC v Royal Eagles
November 30 -
Richards Bay v Ajax Cape Town
Mbombela United v JDR Stars
Free State Stars v TS Sporting
Jomo Cosmos v University of Pretoria
December 1 -
TS Galaxy v Cape Umoya
Tshakhuma FC v Uthongathi FC
