In the build up to tonight's Nedbank Cup last 32 encounter between Kaizer Chiefs and Stellenbosch FC, Pollen Ndlanya has said that the match will not be easy because of Chiefs' status in South African football.

Ndlanya, who had two stints with the club in the 1990s, has explained that it Amakhosi need to keep in mind that other teams are determined to beat them due to their status as one of the country's biggest clubs.
"I think the team needs to understand that they are the team that everyone wants to beat," he said. "When teams play Chiefs, they become really motivated."

In addition, Ndlanya looked back to the 2010/11 season, where Chiefs lost one game and drew another against Vasco Da Gama, the name under which Stellenbosch FC operated until last year, saying that the NFD club will take the same approach as the underdogs in tonight's game.
For Chiefs, it won't be an easy game. Vasco (Stellenbosch) beat them the last time that they were in the league. They will do the same and come in and work hard. The players know the nature of this game.
The match will get underway at 20:15 tonight in Athlone Stadium.
