As defending champions, Sundowns will be expected to progress against their opponents today, but Mosimane says that the route to the final will not be easy.

"We are the defending champions and we have to make sure that we defend the title but we are not taking it simply. Mbombela are a very good side and they are doing well in their league, " Mosimane told the Siya crew.

The 51-year-old added that he will be giving his opponents the same respect as any other team and that they will take Mbombela seriously.

"We will approach this game just like we approach any other game in any other tournament. We will take it seriously and make sure we win the game," Mosimane explained.
