Milutin Sredojevic Has Spoken Ahead Of Orlando Pirates' Nedbank Cup Clash

Milutin 'Micho' Sredojevic says that Orlando Pirates take comfort in knowing that Black Leopards are a team that come out and play football.

The Soweto giants played to a 1-1 draw against Baroka FC in the Absa Premiership this weekend, with Head Coach Micho expressing his disappointment in the Limpopo side setting up in a very defensive manner on the day.

Speaking to the media, Coach Micho revealed that he is happy that Leopards are a team who won't park a 'triple-decker bus' this weekend, allowing both sides to play expressive football.

"The biggest happiness for us to go and play football is the fact that this is not the team that will park a triple-decker bus, the team will come out to play, the supporters will demand of them to play," he said.

The Buccaneers head coach then went on to open up about Pirates' trophy ambitions, saying that his side is close to reaching their desired standard.

"We as a club in the last few years have gone through, let us say a patch of (the) dry season, we are doing everything possible to revert that.

"We want to reach the standard, and we believe we are not very far (in) reaching that standard of winning trophies and continuing in years ahead," Coach Micho said.

Leopards host Pirates at the Thohoyandou Stadium on Saturday 26 January at 18:00.
