Goals from Makola, Dove Wome and Thamsanqa Gabuza helped the Buccaneers progress to the Last 16 of the Nedbank Cup.

Makola had some kind words for Issa Sarr and Bernard Morrison, who were both brought back into the line up.

"I think Morrison did well. He came on and he gave us what we wanted on the flank," Makola said after the game.

"Issa (Sarr) hasn't been playing in a while, but he did really well in the middle of the park. It's just about giving the team a great attitude and going forward from here."

Makola also claims Bees were no pushovers, despite the scoreline suggesting otherwise.

"They didn't make any easier for us , especially in the second half after they scored their first goal, they were coming at us. Regardless of how we played, we just needed to go through to the next round," he added.
