Kaizer Chiefs Have Numerous Defensive Concerns

Cardoso is one card away from suspension...
What Happened At Chiefs' Meeting...
The Amakhosi had to finish their clash against Chippa United with 10 men after Teenage Hadebe, Erick Mathoho and Ramahlwe Mphahlele had to be taken off during the 3-0 defeat, with the former already being ruled out of this weekend's clash even if he recovers in time.
Hadebe picked up another yellow card against the Chilli Boys, meaning he will be suspended for Saturday's game against Platinum Stars, while Mathoho and Mphahlele could be doubts due to their respective injuries.

In addition to that, both Daniel Cardoso and Kgotso Moleko – who could be used as Mphahlele's replacement – are sitting on three yellow cards for the season, and would miss the cup semi-final should they pick up another booking against Dikwena.
With that in mind, Steve Komphela may have only two fit centre backs this weekend – Cardoso and Siyabonga Ngezana – meaning that he will have to call on another player to play out of position if he's to maintain his current formation that utilises three central defenders.
