Kaizer Chiefs have been promised a fight in their cup match against Free State Stars this weekend.

Amakhosi will be in Durban for their semi-final Nedbank Cup match against Ea Lla Koto on Saturday evening. Chiefs and their head coach, Steve Komphela, are under pressure to win the cup so that the team can claim to have had a decent season.
Stars' captain, Paulus Masehe, has assured Chiefs that they will be given a run for their money on Saturday.
"We will try and fight with everything against Chiefs so we can be able to reach the final. It will not be easy but as much as they want it we are also hungry for it as well," Masehe told Stars' official website.
Stars beat Super Eagles, Chippa United and Ubuntu Cape Town to reach this stage of the prestigious competition.
"The level of commitment, consistency, team spirit, discipline and humility has played a major role. Even when we were getting those results we tried, by all means, to remain level-headed and I think that helped us a lot," said Masehe.

"It will be fair for this generation of players who did so well this season to at least achieve something and leave a legacy. It was a good moment for me and I also want to leave by emulating the class of 1994. This team has been part of my life and it will only be fair to at least win something before I hang up my boots and rewrite the history books of the club," concluded the veteran midfielder.
Stars, (then based in Qwaqwa and known as Qwaqwa Stars), won the Coca-Cola Cup in 1994.
Chiefs and Stars face off at the Moses Mabhida Stadium on Saturday at 20:15.
