It seems as if Baroka's victory over Orlando Pirates in their Telkom Knockout final in December has earned the Limpopo outfit the giant-killing tag in local football, with their next cup opponents seemingly anxious about coming up against them.

For the beginning of their search for a second trophy this season, Bakgaga will host Jomo Cosmos in their Nedbank Cup Last 32 match at the Peter Mokaba Stadium on Tuesday, January 29.
Cosmos, who have been struggling with a loss of form in their National First Division campaign this season, as they are currently 12th on the log with only five wins from 18 matches, have deemed themselves underdogs against the Limpopo outfit.

"To be honest, we don't stand a chance against a team of Baroka's calibre. Our league form has not been encouraging though we still fancy our chances of going through to the (NFD) play-offs. However, we'll give it our all as we intend to field our strongest squad in the cup game," Cosmos boss and coach Jomo Sono said, as quoted on the club's official website.
