Eric Tinkler is hoping that Orlando Pirates can finally beat Mamelodi Sundowns in their Nedbank Cup last eight encounter tonight, after already losing twice to the Brazilians in the league this season.

Sundowns beat Pirates 2-0 and 2-1 in both home and away league fixtures in the PSL this season, but Tinkler believes that his team put in good performances and are in comparatively better form.
"I think we played very well in both games that we played against Sundowns though we lost both of them," he told the Siya crew. "Since losing those games we have been on the up both in the league and Nedbank Cup."
Tinkler went on to praise Pitso Mosimane's side, saying that tonight's game will be tough, but entertaining.
"I know that Sundowns are also on a good run and it will be a good game to watch but tough for the ones playing in it and on the bench. But that's football and we have to go and try our third time luck," Tinkler concluded.
