Pitso Mosimane Comments On The Position Of The Log Standings

Mamelodi Sundowns are second place on the Absa Premiership league standings and despite missing out on a chance to go to the top, Pitso Mosimane is happy with his side's log position.

Sundowns played to a 1-1 draw against Polokwane City in the Absa Premiership last night, this before preparing to take on the log leaders, Bidvest Wits on Saturday.

The Brazilians, however, still have two league games in hand to catch up to Wits, therefore it seems that Mosimane is not too worried about their current league standing as yet.

"We are sitting in the right position, we are sitting nice there, it's a nice position to sit," Mosimane told the media after the game last night.

"I can't pretend that we wouldn't have liked to win tonight, but it's okay, it's a good position also. Pressure is on everybody who plays, football is totally different. There's no obvious, you fight for your points," he added.
