Milutin Sredojevic thinks that Thembinkosi Lorch should be crowned the player of the season, rules do not allow to vote for the Orlando Pirates playmaker.
Despite not lifting the Absa Premiership trophy at the end of the season, Lorch ended off his campaign on a high, after scoring two goals to seal a 3-0 win for the Bucs against Polokwane City.

Prior to the final game of the season, Coach Sredojevic was questioned about who he will be voting for for the Player Of The Season award and while he could not mention the player's name, he pointed out the qualities that have stood out for him this season.
"I personally believe, Thembinkosi Lorch, Nyoso deserves to be but rules do not permit to vote in his favour," Sredojevic told the media.
"With the highest degree of respect, following every ball being kicked here in our football, I can assure you that myself, the technical team shall vote no matter where it is coming from, whatever team, purely, you switch that button where you are a coach and go to the human being and football person and vote for the person who has given the most this year. I have seen, I can not mention his name, I have seen him be a leader and give everything on the field, carrying the team on his shoulders and we shall vote in that direction," he added.
