The first cup competition of the new South African season will get underway in a few months, and some interesting ties have been thrown up in the MTN8 quarter-finals as Kaizer Chiefs missed out.   Check out the quarter-final ties - and the team's records - in the gallery above   Chiefs fell out of the top eight for the first time since 2006/07, with a defeat on the final day seeing Bloemfontein Celtic sneak into the running for next season's tournament following their win over AmaZulu.   Read: AFCON Injury Scare For Bafana Star   They will face reigning Absa Premiership champions, Mamelodi Sundowns, while runners-up, Orlando Pirates, will be pitted against Owen da Gama's Highlands Park.    Elsewhere, Bidvest Wits finished third – securing their spot in next year's CAF Confederation Cup – and will be going up against SuperSport United, with the final game seeing Cape Town City go into battle with Polokwane City after their finished fourth and fifth.    Read: Revealed - Playoff Games As Absa Prem Fight Begins   The quarter-finals will get underway early in the 2019/20 season, although dates are yet to be confirmed, with all of the involved clubs looking to get their hands on some early silverware to get the campaign off to a good start.   Who do you think will progress into the semi-finals?
