The suspect, who was caught with over a hundred fake tickets for the match, was arrested on Saturday morning by the South African Police Service.
The match, to be played at the Moses Mabhida Stadium, was sold out within hours of tickets being made available.
"We promised that we will crack down on people with counterfeit tickets. We would like to warn those who are intending to sell or purchase fake tickets that they face arrest," PSL Head of Safety and Security, Phillip Masimong said.
"We are working very closely with SAPS and other security clusters to ensure that only people with legitimate tickets will gain access to the stadium. We thank SAPS for their cooperation."
